Join the Sonic Uke Ensemble for an evening of musical mayhem, improbable harmonies, and string-powered entertainment. Having delighted audiences at countless live performances, these ukulele enthusiasts fearlessly tackle everything from vintage favourites to contemporary classics. Expect great songs, bad jokes, surprising twists, and more ukuleles than any reasonable person would think necessary.

As if that weren't enough, special guests The Cast Iron Potty Band will bring their gloriously unconventional sound to the stage. Armed with dulcet vocals, a washtub bass, washboard, jug, bird calls, clarinet, accordion, and an assortment of miscellaneous stringed devices, they transform everyday objects into musical instruments—and somehow make it work.

Together, these two groups promise an evening of toe-tapping tunes, spontaneous laughter, and the reassuring knowledge that no instrument is too strange if played with enough enthusiasm.

We had such a wonderful time at Marsh Street last year, we thought we'd do it again!

Last year's show turned into a full-blown uke party, attracting players, enthusiasts, and curious onlookers who discovered that ukuleles are far more powerful than their size would suggest. We're hoping for an even bigger gathering this year.

Come join us at The Jazz Room for a night of music and community support. This event is all about promoting mental health awareness through the power of music. Let the soothing tunes and positive vibes help lift your spirits!

We Got You is a music project to raise awareness about mental health challenges and to provide support for the creation of wraparound mental health services for children and adults in the Waterloo Region.

Our lineup of talented musicians includes Mary-Catherine Pazzano, Sonic Uke Ensemble and ON AIR. All funds raised through the sale of our music and through this ticketed concert will be donated to the Filling In the Gaps Foundation.

Come together with others who understand and care. Let's destigmatize mental health and enjoy a night of good music and good company. See you there!
